“Gautschen” is a peculiar ceremony from the printing industry in Germany that can be traced back to the 16th century, in which an apprentice is immersed in a water bath and/or placed on a wet sponge as part of a release ceremony after passing final examination.
At our location in Heidenheim, all apprentices who have passed their final exams in the technical field in recent years were released into the working world through this ceremonial act. Congratulations to all participants!
